1st Haircut =)

Christie has been anxiously waiting for Nicholas to turn one so we could cut his hair as it drove her crazy how much he had. They came over one night and we were bored so I suggested we cut his hair now thinking she would object, but she jumped up and said "I'm game, let's do it". So, the baby didn't get his official first haircut at 1, but we were mighty close!

He was soo absolutely good during the cut it was amazing - ya just have to give him things he shouldn't have and he is game for anything.

He looks like a little boy more than a baby without his hair!

Christie's Birthday weekend fun =/

Christie celebrated her 24th birthday on the 30th - man have the years flown by! Gma and I took her out to lunch and then we had cake at the house. We kept the baby that night so that Chris and Tony could go out for the evening and celebrate together.

While babysitting, we get a phone call at 1:30 am from Chris telling us she is in excruciating pain and it seemed to be getting worse - we told her to go to the hospital and luckily she did as she ended up with an emergency appendectomy =/
She spent the weekend in the hospital then came home and feels so much better now that the pain is gone. She will spend the week at home recouperating but is doing great. :)
