Introducing Nicholas Anthony!!

Well he is finally here and doing great. Nicholas Anthony was born at 2:05pm and was 21" long and 9 lbs even. Christie did a great job and only had to push about 1/2 hour or so. She went into labor at 2 am and we left for the hospital at 4 as we had an hour drive - she got her epidural at 6 and was quite comfortable for the duration until the pushing began. Nicholas is doing well and they should be home tomorrow!

What a joy and a blessing to become a grandparent - and what a little angel to be born today!! It was wonderful to be able to be there for the birth of my grandson and share in the joy of welcoming him into the world!

Well Uncle Nick has dubbed little Nicholas "Mini-Me" - he is glad to share his name with him and he does look similar to Nick and Christie when they were babies.

Who listens to his Grandma!!!

Well everyone - I TOLD you he would be born on the the 28th!!! It is 4 am and we are heading to the hospital - she has been in labor since 2 am!!!!! I told ya allllllll the 28th!!!!!

An end in sight!

Well Chris went to the Dr and if she doesn't have the baby on her own, she is scheduled for an induction March 6. She soo doesn't want to wait another week, but at least there is an end in sight now!!

Ready to Go!!

Well Chris has less than a week to go and she can't wait!! The Dr told her at her last appointment that he was not going to let her go past her due date (Mon the 3rd) as she is measuring larger than her weeks of pregnancy and they don't want the baby too large. Chris is ready to have it soo last week, so she is game for whatever it takes to have him now. She sees the Dr tomorrow so we will see what he says then. Her closet is done now so she is completely unpacked - she is nothing but ready to go!!

Christie has two weeks to go!!

Chris is feeling sooo ready to have the baby and she can't wait. She is miserable and can't sleep as she hurts and can't get comfortable. She is def in high "nesting" mode so she is getting close. She has everything ready in the room, but still wants to finish unpacking once the closet is done so she can feel completely done and ready to bring the baby home. We def hope all is done before she does have the baby!!

One more thing to do

Christie and Tony are living out of garbage bags strewn about my familyroom as they still have no closet =/ This is where the closet is going but I don't think they will fit much in there with a pinball machine in it!! The closet area is cleaned out now and the framing is in so the doors can be hung - we need the organizer and she can fill it up!! (and empty out my familyroom!!)

The bedroom is finished!!

The fifth bedroom is finally completed!! Once we got the computer furniture out of the way, they were able to start and it's finally finished!

Here is the completed bedroom - finally done and occupied!! Now they just have to have the baby to fill the bassinet with! =)

Another project completed!

This is the area that we transformed into Chris and Tony's new bedroom. All of the desk stuff and etc was moved up into the completed computer room that's finally finished!

Working on Nick's old bedroom to make it into my computer room. They laid the sub-floor, painted, then laid the new floor. Then I got to move in!!

Here is the finished room and I think it turned out great! The guys once again did a great job and I have a space all to myself!!! (with a door - that CLOSES!!)
