Christmas

I definitely love this time of year and it is such a blessing to have a wonderful growing family, and extended family, to celebrate it with. The kids are the offical cookie decorators and as usual, they did a great job (even Kyle!;)

I have to ask myself repeatedly WHAT in the world I was thinking in letting Nick get that hideous creepy thing Kyle is holding for his father!! Every time I see it, it gives me the chills! The worst part is that it is a remote control creature that scurries across the floor very quickly with red eyes! :O Sooo not my fault if it mysteriously disappears one day!!
Ron and I getting ready for our first hosting of Christmas dinner this year and it was fun having extended family over for it.

After dinner we enjoyed Christmas evening at Grandma's with desserts and family. I love how the group keeps growing each year with all the new babies, and next Christmas my grandson will be here too! Unfortunately, we once again failed to get a group shot though - next year!

Nick alwasys seems to end up with Legos when he is with the little kids - it's adorable and he will make a great uncle for sure!!

Snow

We have a hawk that spends quite a bit of time on our pool deck waiting to get a bird or a squirrel. I didn't think they would come so close to a house, but he does!!

Well we got our first 'big' snow of the season! I know it's not as bad as Uncle Bob is getting in Boston, but it's a start for us. So glad I have the boys to dig us out, I would hate to see Ron do it all on his own!! =)

Nick's 17!!

No matter how old they get they are still nothing but big kids!! Anton and Nick enjoyed some Legos on Thanksgiving and the boys put lights up the day after. They were fortunate to have somewhat decent weather and no one fell off the roof!!

I can't belive that Nick is now 17!! Man have the years flown by. Christie adorned her brother in her winter garb, but he wore it well!!

We celebrated his birthday by going downtown to ESPN Zone. We ate and then they played video games. It was a beautiful night to be downtown though it was a bit cold, but not as bad as it could have been.

Scary night!

Christie was involved in a car accident Saturday night and was hit by the car behind her when she slid on ice while driving the expressway. We are so thankful that she was not hurt! She was taken to the hospital though due to her pregnancy and she and the baby were monitored for several hours to make sure she wasn't going to go into labor due to the impact

and stress of the accident.
